Report: Lebanon Foils Plot to Fire Rockets on Israel - The Israel Project: "Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah contended in a televised speech that only “resistance,” meaning violence, works to achieve goals.
In his speech, Nasrallah denied reports that Hezbollah fighters were in Syria and Iran helping to quash protests. Most Syrians, he argued, support the Basher al-Assad regime and should return to quiet.
Nasrallah called Hezbollah’s missiles their greatest source of “pride,” Al-Manar, Hezbollah’s news station, reported.
“Why do Israelis fear the Resistance [Hezbollah] obtaining anti-aircraft weaponry? Because the Resistance [Hezbollah] has the will…and courage to use these weapons,” Nasrallah said in a widely viewed martyr’s anniversary speech in 2009."
