I found this interesting debate, and thought it might be worthwhile to include it. Obviously the authors of this debate are young. However I believe young writing should be encouraged, because writing only becomes seasoned by practice.
Also this particular piece was quoted because if science can back up Torah (such as man appearing in the fossil record approximately 6000 years ago), then a huge piece of controversy can be removed from the ongoing Religion vs Science dispute.
I feel that it is important that the scientific minded frum individuals should not have to appoligize for their scientific knowledge.
