Eretz Yisrael according to our Holy Torah is the birthplace of all life in this world. We learn this in Bereishis. So now we may turn to some of the reasons of the world as to why we as a jewish people must follow the directions of our kind and all loving G-d, Hashem-Elokaynu, and live in Eretz Yisrael.
Some people might wonder-
Why must we live in a land surrounded by our enemies?
The above question is truly a difficult question, so the following is mainly an attempt to show some non-scriptual reasons why it is a good thing that Eretz Yisrael is populated by The Jewish Nation.
A much simpler question to look at, quite possibly gets to some of the causes for conflict in this seemingly never ending conflict in this part of the world:
What is the most obvious natural resource which is widely distributed in the areas which surround Eretz Yisrael?
The first question is difficult to answer, however the answer to the second question is a easy, Oil!
This is not to say that the above is the only, or even the primary reason for us to live in Israel, however it is something to consider when one considers the surrounding areas, and what would be the fate of the Holy Land of Israel should it ever Chas va Shalom (G-d forbid) fall into the hands of the other nations, as it has so many times throughout history.
Oil is a very valuable commodity, and look at who controls so much of the world's supply of oil. I suppose the most obvious answer is that The Arab Nations primarily control the world's supply of oil.
In a very brief, and simplistic take one could certaintly understand that even if (the holy land of Israel was not (chas-va-shalom ..g-d forbid) in the hands of The Jewish People, that the United States would always have an enconomic interest, as well as a strategic interest in this part of the world.
This point was developed and superficially explained only to demonstrate that the US as the worlds largest consumer of crude oil, has an easily understandable economic and strategic interest in that part of the world.
There were people who at the time of 9/11/01 wanted to correalate the brutal Attack on our Nation by hostile terrorists with some sort of social issue regarding the United Sates having a pro-Israel social agenda. From the point of view of economics, often the bottom line when one considers US interests, the economic interests for better or worse typically come before the social issues, in the order of official United States governement foreign relations policy.
The Arab-Israel Geo-Political problem while certaintly a huge and hotly debated topic is not my area of expertise and I will leave this topic alone for those who have and only bring it up as needed to get my other ideas across. Then perhaps we can look at the original idea I wanted to present which is looking at the narrow strip of land which is known as Eretz Yisrael, from the point of view of the science of embryology (the study of the development of a living organism from its seed).
As elsewhere on this blog, I will attempt to show that there is no reason to assume that any of the important concepts of biology in any way in contradict or subtract from any of the divine truths of our Holy Torah!
